Cognitive Science and human development :

Cognitive Science as a transdisciplinary enterprise has made noticeable progress in various domains of knowledge and human activity. Recently, the Department of Science and Technology nominated cognitive science as one of the pillars of activity to be in the center stage and has graciously funded research and technology. Cognitive science theories and ideas are being applied to key sectors like health, training, digitization and other emerging areas and has proven to offer insightful solutions to both traditional and contemporary problems particularly faced by transitioning societies like ours. 

This conference is aimed to bring together National and International scholars to deliberate on the deliverables of cognitive science so as to offer solutions to societal problems.

We are targeting 4 potential areas or research, namely, 

• Literacy and Education

• Mental Health

• Effectiveness of Digitization and Artificial Intelligence

• Biology, Culture and Cognition

 

The conference is being planned with special sessions led by invited speakers and poster presentations. It will also have panel discussions. The ultimate use of cognitive science apart from offering a theory of mind, is to offer a theory that solves societal problems.
